Starting points, preferences, shift inputs, approvals and logs are stored in this browser. Clearing browser storage removes them. Downloads let you keep your own copies.
When enabled, email and Google sign-in are handled by Firebase Authentication. Authentication details are sent to Firebase; Google sign-in also uses Google. The current planner can be used without an account. Profile details (name, photo, email, sign-in method, verification status, and creation date) come from Firebase Authentication. Plans and shift records stay in this browser, are not uploaded to an account, and are shared across people using this browser. Signing out does not erase browser records. Cartoon avatar choices are saved in this browser separately for each signed-in profile and for guest browsing; they are not uploaded to Firebase or synced across devices.
Address search text is sent to Photon to find matching OpenStreetMap addresses. Current Location asks your browser for permission to use device location services. The resulting coordinates become your starting point and are stored with your preferences in this browser. You can deny access and enter an address instead. Accuracy depends on your device and is shown when available. A selected point is used to calculate distance. Google Maps route links send the chosen route coordinates to Google when you open them. Public City and OpenStreetMap catalog refreshes retrieve Irvine records without your street address.
Automatic travel estimates send origin and destination coordinates to OSRM. Fuel costs use the price and MPG you enter. The app does not look up fuel stations or live pump prices.
Map tiles are served by OpenStreetMap. Provider map links open Google Maps for directions. Google's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy apply. OpenStreetMap data is credited to OpenStreetMap contributors.
Mapped venues are research leads. Host permission, exact service locations and access must be confirmed. City road counts show their measurement year. Review counts and travel time are separate from customer demand. Shift estimates use operator-entered numbers.
